Research Assistantships
Research Assistantships are offered to qualified students in the M.S. (thesis option) and Ph.D. programs. Research Assistantships are offered by individual faculty.

Teaching Assistantships
Teaching Assistantships are offered to qualified students in the M.S. and Ph.D. programs.

Foundation Doctoral Fellowships
Mechanical Engineering Doctoral Students are eligible for newly established USF Foundation Doctoral Fellowships. Foundation fellowships include $20,000 stipends, full tuition, fees and health insurance, and are renewable for up to five years. Students are nominated by the Department. Deadline is February 1. University Fellowships
Mechanical Engineering Students are eligible for $7,000 fellowships which are usually granted for the first semester of doctoral study and include tuition waivers. Students are nominated by the Department.

Lucent Florida Universities Fellowships
Mechanical Engineering Students are eligible for newly established Lucent Fellowships. Fellowships include $15,000 stipends, tuition and fees, book and travel allowance. For application information click here.
