ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) requires that each engineering program develop a process based on the needs of it’s constituencies (employers, students, alumni etc.) in which objectives and desired outcomes to achieve these objectives are determined and evaluated on a continuous basis.
The input at the Advisory Board meetings is a highly valuable component of this process. The involvement and leadership of Advisory Board is important to us as we plan for the next accreditation visit by ABET.
The advisory board meets at least once a year to review our program and provide feedback on their expectations from our graduates |
