Students
Mini-Baja Champions
Ingersoll-Rand Contest (1st Place) The fundamental purpose is to encourage engineering students to be total professionals by participating in technical events that expand on their academic pursuits, by building character toward good citizenship, and by learning more about real world engineering.
Old Guard Oral Competition (2nd Place) It is recognized that an engineer, like all professionals, must possess a well-developed ability to communicate, both orally and in writing. This competition is designed to emphasize the value of an ability to deliver oral presentations.
Student Design Contest (3rd Place) Problem Description: “Mine Madness Field” - Design and build a vehicle that will retrieve six simulated mines from a minefield and place them into a controlled receiving area within an allotted time of three minutes.
