The Senior FWC Chapter provides extensive career development opportunities for USF students. The Student Activities Chair attends monthly student section meetings, arranges for speakers and tours from among the many industrial members of the senior chapter, acts as a conduit for internship opportunities within the Tampa Bay region and encourages students to participate in national scholarship / grants / design competitions. USF students are always welcome and supported at the senior chapter meetings, providing strong networking opportunities.

We are fortunate to partner closely with the Florida West Coast Section of ASME International. They help us with professional development and networking. They also attend our events to give the student feedback on their projects and how to make them better before competing at conferences.
